Willows Realty Group works all over Durham Region, Peterborough/Kawartha Lakes, and Northumberland County—it’s an area we’ve come to know like the back of our hands. We have served these communities for decades, and want to share what it’s like to live in some of our favourite places.

Durham Region

Just east of Toronto, Durham Region represents a collection of cities, including Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa, Uxbridge, Clarington, and Port Perry. Scugog/Port Perry

The township just above Oshawa, Scugog expands from Lake Scugog and is home to several towns, including Port Perry. While the Scugog area is largely rural, it’s home to beautiful lakefront living, expansive country landscapes, and endless opportunities for active lifestyles. Scugog is where you can immerse yourself in the surrounding nature, enjoy the heritage and quaint communities of the quiet towns and hamlets, and find unique real estate that caters to the rural way of life. Kawartha Lakes

As the name suggests, Kawartha Lakes is an area that’s home to several bodies of water which draw in residents from across the province. The area is home to over 250 lakes and rivers, including Sturgeon Lake, Cameron Lake, Balsam Lake, Mitchell Lake, Canal Lake, and more. Mostly rural, Kawartha Lakes is perfect for enjoying outdoor activities like boating, canoeing, swimming, camping, hiking, fishing, and all kinds of waterfront activities. Not only great for cottaging, Kawartha Lakes is a wonderful place to raise a family or retire. Known for its excellent farmers market and local produce, live theatre, golf courses, and charming boutiques, and community pride, Kawartha Lakes has a lot to offer.

Peterborough

Expanding from the Otonabee River and surrounded by nearby lakes, Peterborough is a city with exceptional lifestyle opportunities. Flanked by open greenspace and natural landscapes, the city is a favourite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. With country and urban living opportunities, Peterborough is great for city dwellers and residents who enjoy a slower pace. Northumberland County

Situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, Northumberland County consists of several municipalities nestled between Lake Ontario and Rice Lake. The two largest cities in Northumberland County are Port Hope and Cobourg (just off of Highway 401), each with exceptional outdoor amenities including golf courses, beaches, parks, and more. Though the majority of Northumberland County is rural, it has excellent access to major roadways which allow for quick connection to nearby cities.
