This organization is a non-profit serving Scugog residents in need. It is funded solely by donations and remains a vital part of the community. It operates throughout the year and fulfills an ever-increasing need in the community, staffed entirely by volunteers.

Alzheimer Society of Canada has a mission to promote the search for causes, treatments and a cure for this debilitating disease. It has affected both Keith & Lisa’s families and the families of several of our clients. It has become our latest philanthropic cause and one very close to our hearts.

Led by the charismatic and tireless Executive Director Margaret Ayers, this important organization tends to the emotional needs of our area’s “Littles.” Their noble mission is to “enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people.” What could be more important to ensuring the future for all, than to look after our younger generations?

Their Opportunity is a grassroots charity in Durham that exists to provide low-income families with the means to enroll children in organized sports and recreation. Additionally, within 3 months of receiving funding, each child is mandated to “pay-it-forward” through their Giveback Program. Their program inspires hope while teaching essential life skills of teamwork and compassion. A portion of every sale completed with Willows Realty Group is donated to this initiative.

Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre provides community support for people diagnosed with cancer and their families through individual and group support, information, a resource centre, wellness programs and an ongoing lecture and discussion series. Hearth Place is a support centre where cancer patients and their families can come and share their experiences, find resources and discover new ways to care for themselves and each other. Willows Realty Group, WEE/MAX and RE/MAX Jazz collectively donated $150,000 to build a brand new paediatric department for Hearth Place! 

With every purchase and sale of a home with our team, we make a direct donation. The funds raised go toward primary prevention research, which aims to stop breast cancer before it starts. Primary prevention research carries some of the greatest potentials for exciting new discoveries and widespread impact. 

Willows Realty Group contributes a portion of every purchase and sale to Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals. Each donation helps fund paediatric medical equipment and treatments, as well as other healthcare services.

Funding assistance is not always available to families for these items, so Willows Realty Group has donated custom coats to help.
